Shorthand Notations

  • These examples use a shorthand notation that omits tagged values and uses name-matching to establish the relationship between model elements. This pattern is used for the connections between presentation classes and navigation nodes and between presentation and navigation properties.
  • Except for the stereotype «extend», the stereotypes are only shown as icons. If you are not sure which icon represents which stereotype, there is an overview page with a summary of the stereotypes and their icons.
  • Also if several pins of an action are connected to the same object node, it is a shorthand notation that depending on the direction of the flow either the objects of the pins are first assembled into a suitable object or the object of the node is decomposed into the objects of the pins by a not explicitly shown action and only then transported along the flow.
